PHISGOC apologizes for SEA Games mishap

The Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC) has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the confusion in hotel and transportation arrangements.

In a statment on Sunday (November 24), PHISGOC said they continue to strive to ensure proper coordination of the arrival details, airport welcome, and transportation provisions of all international teams.

“We sincerely apologize to our athlete guests from Timor-Leste, Myanmar and Cambodia for the inconvenience caused to them by the confusion regarding their transportation and hotel arrangements,” their statement reads.

PHISGOC has acknowledged their shortcomings regarding the incident and also vowed to do better.—AAC
