Piers Morgan has slammed Hugh Grant on social media, calling the actor “disgusting” for his comments on the recent General Election.
Mr Grant, a vocal opponent of Boris Johnson and Brexit, lamented the Prime Minister’s landslide victory in last month’s poll.
Speaking to AP Entertainment, the Notting Hill actor called the result a “catastrophe” before adding: “The country’s finished.”
Commenting on a clip of the interview soon after it was posted on Twitter, Good Morning Britain host Mr Morgan hit out at the actor over his views.
