He has been training under the guidance of Moro Fernandez in Miami.
The 24-year-old Plania last fought in the US on June 16, 2020. It was the biggest win of his career after he beat much-hyped Joshua Greer by split decision.

Plania already fought once in 2021. He outclassed Emmanuel Mogawa by unanimous decision in a six-round fight on April 30 in General Santos City, Philippines.
The 35-year-old Ramos is an experienced fighter that has fought some of the elite in his division.
He has shared the ring with the likes of Juan Francisco Estrada, Emmanuel Navarette, Tomas Rojas, Juan Alberto Rosas, Gary Antonio Russell and Melvin Lopez.
Ramos dropped his last seven fights. His latest loss was a six-round unanimous decision to Emanuel Nieves.
