MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine National Police (PNP) has implemented a reshuffle among its 12 high ranking officials.
Police Director Noli Taliño has been assigned as the new Chief of the Special Action Force (SAF) from being the Head of the Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (HRDD).
The previous SAF Director, Police Director Benjamin Lusad, will now lead the Directorate for Integrated Police Operation of Southern Luzon.
Former Region 4-B Police Chief Superintendent Wilben Mayor will be transferred to the Directorate for Operations.
He will be replaced by Police Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Licup, who was the former head of the Directorate for Operations.
Other generals of the PNP will also be reshuffled.
The PNP clarified that there is no controversy involved in the said reshuffle.
“This reassignment is because of assessment. Assessment of the performance and how the officers can help contribute to the thrust of the PNP for 2018,” PNP Spokesperson P/CSupt. Dionardo Carlos said. – UNTV News & Rescue
