PODCASTS: Mga akda ni Rizal, binigyang-tinig

Malaki ang papel ng mga akdang isinulat ni Dr. Jose Rizal sa pagmulat ng kamalayan ng mga Pilipino noon. Kilala si Rizal sa kanyang mga nobelang Noli Me Tangere at El Filibusterismo, ngunit mula pagkabata, marami na siyang naisulat na mga tula, liham, at sanaysay na naging inspirasyon ng mga Pilipino para simulan ang rebolusyon at labanan ang pagmamalupit ng mga banyaga.

Para bigyang pugay ang ating pambansang bayani sa ika-150 na anibersaryo ng kanyang kaarawan, binigyang-tinig ng ilang artista at mga mamamahayag ng GMA News ang mga akda ni Rizal —mga tula, liham, at linyang halaw mula sa kanyang mga nobela.

Si Cesar Montano, na nanalo ng mga parangal para sa kanyang pagganap sa pelikulang "Jose Rizal," ang nagbasa ng mga linya sa kabanatang "Simoun" mula sa nobelang El Filibusterismo. Ang komedyanteng si Leo Martinez naman, na lingid sa kaalaman ng marami ay isa ring aktor sa teatro, ang nagbasa ng makabagbag-damdaming tulang "Mi Ultimo Adios."

Binasa ng mamamahayag na si Kara David ang liham ni Rizal sa mga kababaihan ng Malolos, kung saan inihayag ni Rizal ang kanyang pagnanais na mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga babae na makapag-aral. Samantala, ang reporter naman na si Oscar Oida ang nagbasa ng isang liham na ipinadala ni Rizal sa kanyang pamilya noong siya'y nakatira sa Europa.

Sa mga susunod na buwan, magpapatuloy ang GMA News Online na mag-upload ng mga binigyang-tinig na akda ni Rizal, nang sa gayo'y mapakinggan ng marami ang mensaheng nais ipaabot ng mga akda ng ating pambansang bayani, na kahit isinulat mahigit isang siglo na ang nakararaan ay nananatiling makabuluhan hanggang sa kasalukuyan.

Paunawa: Maliban sa "Mi Ultimo Adios," ang mga akda na binasa sa mga audio recordings ay sadyang pinaikli.
