MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed as executive director of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) lawyer Eduardo Bringas.
Bringas was the legal counsel of former National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) deputy directors Reynaldo Esmeralda and Ruel Lasala who filed complaints against Senator Leila de Lima and former Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Officer in Charge Rafael Ragos on alleged conspiracy in illegal drug operations.
Bringas will be with PACC chief, Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) Chairman Dante Jimenez as well as commissioners former senatorial candidate Grego Belgica, Gregorio Luiso Contacto, and Rickson Chiong. — UNTV News & Rescue
