This is to visit the areas severely affected by Typhoon Odette (international name: Rai) that hit the two provinces on Dec. 16.

According to information gathered by Superbalita Cebu from the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (Opav), Duterte will visit the town of Argao in southern Cebu.

Apart from Argao town, Duterte might visit other areas in Cebu affected by the typhoon.

The President is expected to fly from Manila to the Mactan-Benito Ebuen Air Base on Sunday afternoon. From Mactan, he will board a helicopter to conduct an aerial inspection.

From Cebu, Duterte will leave for Inabanga town in Bohol, where Bohol Gov. Arthur Yap and Inabanga Mayor Roygie Jumamoy are scheduled to brief him on the situation in the province.

Duterte will also meet the victims of Typhoon Odette at Inabanga’s Municipal Gym, one of the gyms severely affected by the storm.
