Prince Harry 'hoping for family'

Britain’s Prince Harry is apparently eager to start a family soon.

The royal recently returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan as an army helicopter co-pilot. It seems the 28-year-old prince has been thinking about finding the right woman and settling down during his time away from home.

“Harry had a tough time in Afghanistan. His life was in danger. He really missed his family. Now all he has to do is find the right woman!” a source told British magazine Look.

There is speculation that Harry started thinking seriously about fatherhood after it was announced that his older brother Prince William is expecting his first baby with his wife Catherine.

The red-haired royal recently admitted he felt a little jealous about William’s home life, explaining his brother “gets to go home to his wife and his dog”.

“Everyone sees him as a party animal. Yes, he has that side to him, but he’s also increasingly desperate to start a family,” the source added. “Coming home and seeing Kate and William made Harry realise that is what he wants too – and soon.”

The prince has made no secret of his desire to have a family. In May last year, Harry revealed that having children was one of his lifelong dreams.

“I’ve longed for kids since I was very, very young,” he said. “So I’m waiting to find the right person, someone who’s willing to take on the job.”

Since splitting from his long-term girlfriend Chelsy Davy in 2010, Harry has been romantically linked to singer Mollie King, British heiress Cressida Bonas and model Cara Delevingne.
