A new photo of Prince Louis, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s youngest child, arriving at the Queen’s annual Christmas Day lunch at Buckingham Palace has been released.
The 19-month-old royal was seen in a car with his four-year-old sister Charlotte, driven by 37-year-old mum Kate.
Louis was last pictured at a charity polo match in July, which Prince William and Prince Harry took part in.
Prior to that, he accompanied his siblings and parents to Trooping the Colour in June.
The difference in Louis in the past six months is “staggering”, according to commentators on Twitter.
Some Twitter users said Louis looks just like his elder brother Prince George.
The six-year-old also attended the lunch, arriving separately to his mother and sibling in a car with Prince William.
Other fans have taken their sleuthing one step further and uploaded side-by-side images of Louis and George to highlight the close resemblance between the brothers.
Others have said how much like his mother Louis looks.
Elsewhere on Twitter, social media users were comparing little Louis to the ‘Boss baby’ film.
The Royal Family’s pre-Christmas lunch is held annually at Buckingham Palace on the Wednesday before Christmas Day.
This event is attended by numerous members of the Royal Family – including those who will not be present at the Sandringham estate gathering attended by senior royals over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Typically the children sit separately from the adults at this event.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are set to attend their first Christmas Day church walk with the Royal Family. However, it is believed Louis will stay home with Duchess Kate’s mother, Carole, as at 19 months he is too young to attend.
