PRRD wants truth on corruption allegations at DICT – Malacañang

MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte is interested to know the truth behind corruption allegations inside the Department of Information, Communication and Technology (DICT), according to Malacañang.

It was reported that former Secretary Rodolfo Salalima told DICT personnel that corruption and interference were among the reasons for his resignation.

Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said such claim needs to be validated considering that the main policies of the Duterte administration gear towards curbing corruption in government.

Abella added, the president is still searching for a trustworthy replacement for Salalima. — Rosalie Coz | UNTV News & Rescue
