Life isn't normal for anyone at the moment; not even Queen Elizabeth. The monarch retreated to her Windsor Castle residence for Easter earlier than usual to protect her from catching coronavirus, and she's had to put a stop to all her regular face-to-face meetings.
One such meeting is her weekly encounter with the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, which is formally known as an 'Audience'. In accordance with the government's new rules that people shouldn't leave their houses unless absolutely necessary, the Queen and the Prime Minister have been conducting their official business from 'home', as it were.
Sharing an image of the revolutionary change in proceedings (it's thought this is the first time the weekly Audience hasn't gone ahead face-to-face), the official royal family Instagram account shared a collage image of both Boris Johnson and the Queen on the phone to one another. And, inadvertently, it's become something of a meme.
Writing on Instagram, the royal family posted: "The Queen held her weekly Audience with the Prime Minister today by telephone. Her Majesty - pictured this evening at Windsor Castle - has held a weekly Audience with her Prime Minister throughout her reign."
You only need to take one look at the picture and see it's prime material for some classic meme content. It's a template waiting for wittiness. And lo, the internet has delivered. Here are some of our favourite interpretations of the already-iconic image:
