Peter Phillips, Queen Elizabeth's eldest grandson, and his wife of 13 years Autumn Phillips, have reached a divorce settlement, after first announcing their intention to legally separate last February.
Peter, 43, is the eldest son of Princess Anne and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips. He is the elder brother of Zara Tindall and cousin to Princes Williams and Harry. He and Autumn, also 43, have two daughters, Savannah, 10 and Isla, 9, who they say have been at the centre of every decision they have made throughout the divorce proceedings. The pair intend to share custody of their children.

"Mr Peter Phillips and Mrs Autumn Phillips are pleased to be able to report that the financial aspects of their divorce have been resolved through agreement, the terms of which have been approved and ordered by the High Court today," read an official statement issued on behalf of the former couple yesterday.
"Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost."
The pair were married for 13 years after meeting in 2003. Autumn, whose maiden name was Kelly, was working as a management consultant in Canada and met Peter at the Formula One Grand Prix in Montreal. They married at St George's Chapel in Windsor in 2008.
The divorce settlement statement continued: "Both Peter and Autumn are pleased to have resolved matters amicably with the children firmly at the forefront of those thoughts and decisions.
"Peter and Autumn have requested privacy and consideration for their children as the family adapts to a new chapter in their lives."
In a statement announcing their plans to divorce last year, the pair said the decision to divorce and "co-parent" was "the best course of action for their two children and ongoing friendship." It is believed that the Queen and other royals knew of their decision to split from 2019, as the pair hadn't been seen together in public since September of that year.
Peter and Autumn lived together as a couple in Gloucestershire, where they will remain even now their divorce has been finalised. While Autumn is originally from Canada, Town & Country reports a source says there is no suggestion that she will return there because her children are being brought up in the UK.
Neither Peter nor Autumn have ever been front-line working royals, meaning they have never been funded by public money and instead earn their own income. Peter is a director at London-based sports and entertainment events agency, SEL. In 2019, he made headlines after appearing in a Chinese TV advert for a milk brand.
