At Blue Jasmine, Christmas comes with a twist with two roast sets dedicated to the culinary country of Thailand. This year is no different, as they unveil an impressive Asian-inspired ‘Har Cheong’ Turkey (S$118 for 8 turkey pieces) served with Vegetable Rice, accompanied by housemade spicy Thai-style dip and scallion sour cream. At Marmalade Pantry Christmas revellers can bring home an exciting and vast array of carved meats that are sure to excite everyone young and old. In their menu, diners can find a Traditional Whole Roast Turkey with Fresh Herbs (S$128) that comes with traditional accompaniments of homemade gravy and cranberry sauce, and a separate side of Traditional Stuffing (S$24) and a Roasted Chicken with Rosemary and Fresh Herbs (S$42).

Tablescape’s Festive Takeaway Set focuses on variety with portions suitably adjusted for a party of two to 10. Each takeaway set comes with cold cuts of Italian parma ham and Spanish Chorizo, Burrata, Tagliatelle, and a slice of Foie Gras. Porta’s four-course festive feast (S$66+) promises value and a modern European menu selection that impresses. It starts with a Butternut Pumpkin Soup and an appetiser of pan-seared Hokkaido Scallops served with avruga caviar, crumbled bacon bits, and a bed of fresh green salad leaves.
Mains come by way of either a ‘surf and turf’ pan-seared black cod or a hearty Australian Beef Tenderloin, cooked to medium-rare and served with king oyster mushroom cooked in butter, celeriac purée, and a red wine sauce. Festive feasting concludes with a Chocolate Log Cake served with shaved chocolate, and a bright raspberry purée.

If you and your partner are staying-in this Christmas, you can’t go wrong with one of the few restaurants in Singapore that caters a festive dinner for an intimate party of two. Priced at S$98+, the team at The Garage has curated a hearty menu that includes Palermo Pepper, served with burrata, anchovies, and ginger flower; Sucrine Lettuce, served with miso cream and almond; and Roasted Brussel Sprouts served with an orange reduction.
For mains, there’s a Turkey Bacon Roulade with slices of bacon-wrapped turkey roll with a “stuffing” or crumbs of bacon, cranberry, bread and chestnuts; a Wagyu Rump Cap, simply grilled; and a tender grilled Kurobuta Pork Belly, that has been brined for 48 hours, and sous-vide for another 24. There’s also a “Chicken Rice” Couscous that makes for an ideal accompaniment to your Christmas feasting.
For a sweet ending, The Garage has included a chocolate lover’s favourite, the Chocolate Merlot Cake—a dark chocolate sponge with a luscious merlot and chocolate mousse, draped in a dark chocolate glaze.
For a bigger dinner of three to four people (S$168+), the portions of the menu will be increased accordingly and will include a second dessert course of a Panettone served with house-made miso caramel.
