Robinsons Land’s Frederick Go named presidential adviser on investment and economic affairs

ROBINSONS Land president and chief executive officer (CEO) Frederick Go has been appointed as presidential adviser on investment and economic affairs, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) announced on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023.

Go would have the rank of Secretary, and Rafael Consing Jr., the former chief financial officer of Razon-led International Container Terminal Services Inc., to help him in his office, the PCO said.

Go has had exposure to various businesses in his roles as chairman and president of Altus Property Ventures Inc., president of Robinsons Recreation Corp., chairman of Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corp., and vice chairman of the board of directors of Robinsons Bank Corp.

Prior to his appointment, he also served as a director of Cebu Air Inc., Manila Electric Company, JG Summit Petrochemical Corp., JG Summit Olefins Corp. and Cebu Light Industrial Park.

Go holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University.

As president and CEO of Universal Hotels and Resorts Inc. (UHRI), Go was in Cebu City last May for the soft opening of Nustar Resort and Casino at the South Road Properties.

Nustar is the flagship project of UHRI, a privately owned corporation of the Gokongwei Group focused primarily on gaming and integrated resort developments in the Philippines. (CTL)
