Last week Prince William took to Instagram to share a clip celebrating the release a new book about The Earthshot Prize. But, while some fans spotted a cute family photo in the background, other eagle-eyed Instagram users couldn't help but point out something interesting about Prince William's typing skills.

ICYMI, in the 15 second video, Prince William sits in front of a typewriter as he starts work on his personal introduction to Earthshot: How to Save our Planet. He captioned the post: "In my introduction to Earthshot: How to Save our Planet, the authoritative book of The Earthshot Prize, I wanted to share the early conversations in 2018 that led to the Prize’s creation and the simple equation that captures my theory behind Earthshot: Urgency + Optimism = Action."

So, what is it about his typing skills that has fans all saying the same thing?

Well, it turns out that Prince William is a two-finger typer. Perhaps with his busy royal schedule he hasn't had time to master the art of touch typing. "I love that you type with just your index fingers" wrote one Instagram user, while another commented "So cute to see him typing with one finger.... so relatable to our generation."

A third fan said "Haha love the two finger typing! As does everyone by the looks of the comments lol," as someone else commented "Someone didn’t take typing class."

The Duke of Cambridge launched The Earthshot Prize in October last year. According the the Earthshot website, the prize "is the most ambitious and prestigious of its kind – designed to incentivise change and help to repair our planet over the next ten years."

"The Earthshot Prize is centred around five 'Earthshots' – simple but ambitious goals for our planet which, if achieved by 2030, will improve life for us all, for generations to come," the website says, "Five, one million-pound prizes will be awarded each year for the next ten years, providing at least 50 solutions to the world’s greatest environmental problems by 2030."

Speaking about the prize, Prince William said: "The Earth is at a tipping point and we face a stark choice: either we continue as we are and irreparably damage our planet, or we remember our unique power as human beings and our continual ability to lead, innovate and problem-solve. People can achieve great things. The next ten years present us with one of our greatest tests – a decade of action to repair the Earth."

In a follow up post, Prince William shared a video to reveal the finalists for this year's Earthshot Prize.

He captioned the clip: "I'm proud to present the first-ever cohort of Earthshot Prize finalists — an inspiring group of leaders, activists, innovators, a forward-thinking city and an entire country."
