Vice president-elect Sara Duterte, daughter of incumbent President Rodrigo Duterte, spent P216.19 million for her campaign – completely exhausting all the contributions she received.
This figure came from her Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) filed to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) on Tuesday (June 7).
Like her co-tandem dictator’s son Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., not a single peso from her own pocket was spent for her campaign, with “P0.00” written across “expenditures paid out of personal funds/resources.”
Her campaign was completely financed by in-kind contributions from other sources (P79.58 million) and her political party Lakas-CMD (P136.61 million). She did not receive any cash contributions.
Here is the breakdown of the her contributions received and expenses incurred.
