AS SAVOY Hotel Mactan open its doors to a safe space, the well-being of its guests has always been its priority to ensure a healthy, safe and comfortable stay. With the new level of focus in hospitality, the hotel has remained steadfast in implementing rigorous standards for hygiene and cleanliness across all brands of Megaworld Hotels and Resorts’ “new reality” operation.

Hotel general manager Josef Victor Chiongbian, together with the management team, received the “2021 Clean and Ready Shield” from global hygiene and sanitation leader Diversey. This is an indication that the hotel is compliant with WHO (World Health Organization) and CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidance, following all necessary protocols in cleaning and disinfection based on global standards. It has also passed the enhanced intensive trainings given by Diversey to be assured that hotel employees are working in hygienically safe operations and facilities.

The Diversey Clean and Ready Shield Program enables hotel establishments and organizations to rebuild guest and visitor confidence by giving assurance that the necessary protocols for enhanced cleaning and disinfection are being implemented and monitored with the support of Diversey.

After its successful completion of audit in safety and sanitation, the hotel will continue to strengthen its commitment to a higher level of safety and cleanliness standards while ensuring transparency throughout the guest journey.

The hotel is also waiting to receive its Safety Travels Stamp from the World Travel and Tourism Council. This prestigious recognition is given to businesses and destinations around the globe that have been compliant with the global standardized safety and health protocol. SPONSORED CONTENT
