SMCCO, Rasenta Builders forge finals showdown in Duterte Basketball League

The SMCCO and the Rasenta Builders will be facing off for all the marbles in the Duterte Basketball League Cebu finals after they ousted their respective opponents in the semifinals last Sunday at the Capitol Parish Gym.

The SMCCO bested Wheeltek, 64-52, as John Banono exploded for 25 points, six rebounds, six assists, and three steals.

The other semifinal match-up then saw the Rasenta Builders take down TSO, 60-47, with big man Tawee Cañedo imposing his will inside and finishing with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocked shots.

Game One of the best-of-three finals will be on Sunday.
