“I live 10 miles away from the fire. My friend’s family got evacuated from their home. They have been staying at my home for 6 days going on a week. They live at Forest Estates in Susanville. It was 3 miles away from their home. Thankfully the firefighters held the line and the fire didn’t reach their community.”
