NCA royal rumble set

The best Filipino gamefowl breeders and aficionados will face each other today in the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) 6-Stag Derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Boy ‘Lechon’ de Roca, Efren Canlas, Jimafer, and Pipo Soliman will be hosting the event.

Expected to compete are NCA members and guests namely Jomar Hizon, Edwin Santiago, Tony Naguiat, Ato dela Cruz, Bong Pineda, Manolet Sazon, Edwin Jingco, Jingco brothers, Ray Manalansan, RJ Mea, Louie Castillejo, Max Roxas, Pido Harenzo, Celso Evangelista, and Magno Lim.

Winner of today’s derby will bolster his bid for the NCA Stag Fighter of the Year race. Edwin Tose currently leads the pack with 19 points, followed by the team of Jun Soriano, Brown, and Niño Yee and the group of Bebot Uy, Ralph Daigo, and Johnny Jalandoni with 17.5 points each.

De Roca is at third with 17 points.
