South Korean superstar Son Ye Jin would love to visit Boracay one day.

The Crash Landing On You actress recently met fans virtually on Smart Hallyu Hangouts on 16 July, where she shared her joy over having a strong fan base in the Philippines.

“Honestly, I didn’t know how huge I was but I would get a lot of pictures and messages from fans. I’m actually very surprised but also very happy that I am so well-loved in the Philippines,” said the actress.

Ye Jin has visited Palawan with her family in the past and added, “I would really love to go to Boracay.”

“The most memorable thing about that trip was just the friendly faces of the Filipinos. I could see that everyone was very happy, very friendly, and there was an innocence about them,” she said.

In the two-hour virtual hangout, Ye Jin answered questions from fans on various topics such as favorite eats, exercising, and fashion must-haves.

When asked what's her most favorite aspect of herself, the down-to-earth actress said: “I think I like it best when I can make someone laugh. There’s something about being able to do that to another person that makes me happy. I’m also normally very naughty and playful, and I also like to laugh at myself.”

In addition, Ye Jin enjoys practising pilates as she has for the past 10 years and finds watching herself on the TV as an 'awkward' experience.

When the actress recalled the last day of Crash Landing On You shoot, it was the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic: “We didn’t really realize how serious it was at the beginning. So ever since, we went into full pandemic mode,” she shared.
