Stamp Fairtex And Ritu Phogat Advance To ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Final

The last bracket of the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix has been decided.

On Friday, 29 October, at ONE: NEXTGEN, both Stamp Fairtex and Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat won their respective semifinal bouts, which means they will now face each other in the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Championship Final on 3 December.

In the main event on Friday night, Stamp outworked Julie Mezabarba over three rounds, using her superb Muay Thai skills and growing ground game to dominate the Brazilian from bell to bell. In the co-main bout, Phogat beat Jenelyn Olsim with her grind-you-down fighting style to earn a unanimous decision win as well.

Four other bouts also took place on the night, with two athletes shaking up the ONE Super Series kickboxing world.

Iraj Azizpour won in his ONE Super Series heavyweight kickboxing debut against Anderson “Braddock” Silva, securing his spot as one of the division’s top contenders. And Beybulat Isaev scored his second win in the Circle, this time by striking out Bodgan “Bucharest Bad Boy” Stoica.
