IT’S on to the next challenge for 2016 Olympian Charly Suarez after another knockout finish on Sept. 4, 2021. With the win, Suarez continues his success in the pro ranks.
The 33-year-old Suarez totally dominated Lorence Rosas and stopped him in the fourth round with a brutal body shot in the main event of VSP Promotions’ “Quest for Glory” show at the Urdaneta Cultural Sports Complex in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.
Suarez dropped Rosas with a right to the body in the opening round. He increased his aggression up a notch in the second round and occasionally landed some vicious combinations that rocked Rosas.
Suarez continued to land his heavy combinations but somehow Rosas was able to endure the onslaught in the third round.
Suarez landed a left hook to the ribs that backed Rosas to the ropes. He followed it up with a bone-crushing right to the body that dropped Rosas to the canvas, wincing in pain.
Suarez logged his fourth win in 2021 and improved to 8-0 with six knockouts. Rosas dropped his fifth straight loss and fell to 9-6-2 with three knockouts.
