DESPITE not being included in the typhoon's path, the Talisay City Government warned all its 22 barangays and the public in general to be on alert for any untoward incidents.

According to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Tropical Depression Gardo is now moving over the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) Wednesday morning, while Super Typhoon Hinnamnor may enter PAR Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Hinnanmor will be called "Henry" once it enters PAR.

The super typhoon is expected to hit northern Luzon.

Talisay City Vice Mayor Richard Francis “Choy” Aznar advised the residents to clean their surroundings and dispose of their trash properly so these could not be swept away by rainwater, causing the drainage to clog that may led to flooding. (BBT, TPT)
