TALISAY City on Monday, June 22, 2020, logged seven new Covid-19 cases and one death, according to the City of Talisay Public Information Office (PIO).
The PIO said that the new cases are residents of Barangays Dumlog, Tabunok, Lawaan 2, Linao and Mohon.
Patient Talisay (PT) 153 is a 68-year-old male from Barangay Dumlog. He was admitted to a private hospital for hypertension and diabetes. He was swabbed on June 20.
PT 154 is a 21-year-old female health worker from Barangay Dumlog. She was swabbed on June 19, 2020, due to influenza-like illness (ILI). She is currently on quarantine.
PT 155 was a 37-year-old female from Barangay Tabunok. She passed away at the Talisay District Hospital. According to information from the PIO, she sought consultation for vaginal bleeding to secondary myoma. She was swabbed on June 19 and the result came out Monday.
PT 156 is a 65-year-old female from Barangay Tabunok. She was swabbed at Minglanilla District Hospital on June 19 for ILI symptoms. She is an asymptomatic patient and under home quarantine.
PT 157 is a 57-year-old male from Barangay Lawaan 2. He was admitted to the Southwestern University Medical Center for ILI symptoms. He was swabbed on June 18.
PT 158 is a 35-year-old female health worker from Barangay Linao. She was swabbed on June 21 due to ILI symptoms. She will be quarantined at a hospital facility.
PT 159 is a 28-year-old male from Barangay Mohon. He was swabbed on June 15 for ILI symptoms. He is asymptomatic and under quarantine.
As of Monday, Talisay City has a total of 183 Covid-19 cases, of which 95 are active. It also listed 60 recoveries and 28 deaths. (JGS)
