FILIPINO journeyman Jomar Fajardo suffered his second loss in a span of three months after a second round stoppage in the hands of former world champion Sriksaket Sor Rungvisai on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at the Workpoint Studio in Bang Phun, Thailand.
Rungvusai outclassed Fajardo by landing at will with his heavy combinations. The 28-year-old Bangkok-based Filipino, however, fought valiantly but had no answer to Sor Rungvisai’s blows.
In the second round, Fajardo absorbed a brutal beating by Sor Rungvisai along the ropes, which forced his corner to intervene and stop the fight. The time was 2:59.
Fajardo has lost his third straight fight and dropped to 17-18-2 with nine knockouts, while Sor Rungvisai improved to 48-5-1 with 41 knockouts. (EKA)
