When it comes to comfy undergarments, few brands do it better than Thirdlove. Their unique bra-fitting quiz helps eliminate the issues that come along with wearing the wrong size of bra, which has helped them earn more than 30,000 5-star reviews from shoppers.

Now, the brand is branching out into even more comfortable pieces with their new line of organic cotton undergarments under the line Kit Undergarments. Priced between $23-$70 CAD, the cotton styles are perfect for everyday wear.

We had a chance to try out the new collection, so keep scrolling to see what we thought of the brand's newest comfy bras and underwear.

Having tried Thirdlove's Classic T-Shirt Bra in the past, I was interested to see how the brand's foray into more comfortable loungewear pieces compare. I was able to try out both the Organic Cotton Triangle Soft Bra and the Organic Cotton Scoop Bralette in a size small, which I thought fit well for my usual 32C cup size. Both bras were breathable, lightweight and stretchy — all features that I look for when it comes to undergarments, especially because I've long since given up on underwire. As for the underwear, I was also a fan of the Organic Cotton High-Rise Brief which has quickly become one of my new favourite pairs.

Ringing in at around $50 for bras and $23 for underwear, the styles are on par with many other retailers, with the added bonus that they're made from organic cotton as an environmentally-friendly alternative to other fabrics. The downside is that depending on the style, they are only available up to a size large or X-large. Since these options unfortunately won't work for every body type, I do hope that the Kit Undergarments line expands its size range in the future.

Perhaps a TMI admission, but I am a massive lingerie gal. Even with the restrictions and lack of social plans over the last two years, one of my little joys is knowing that underneath my run-of-the-mill T-shirt and jeans, it's va-va-voom town, population me. And while this fact makes me an unlikely fan of Thirdlove's Kit Undergarments, I found myself pleasantly surprised by a few of their pieces.

Predominantly, I was a fan of their Organic Cotton High-Rise Brief. I love a high-rise fit, especially during that time of the month, and these briefs definitely deliver on coverage. While they are extremely comfortable, it's worth noting that they are also extremely high-rise. Thus far, I've only dared to wear them with dresses as I'm sure they would tower over the highest of my high-rise jeans.

As for their bras, I wasn't blown away by what I tried, to be honest. I wear a 34DD and found that both the Organic Cotton Scoop Bralette and Organic Cotton Triangle Soft Bra lacked the support I need. However, for those looking for an at-home or sleeping bra, both options would be more than comfortable. Another thing to note: I found the bra sizing to be a bit off. Based on the site's sizing recommendations, I chose a size medium, however, the girls would have been better suited to a large.

Let me be brief: I am usually a gal that only wears thongs. However, at 35 weeks pregnant I've traded in a whale tail in favour of something cute and comfortable that covers a bit more real estate on my constantly changing body.

While I was able to try out several pieces from Third Love's line of Kit Undergarments, including their bras, I found myself reaching for the Organic Cotton High-Rise Brief again and again. These super-soft cotton and elastane undies are tag-free, making them the perfect "Granny" panty for days when comfort is key — and for me that's every day. The Organic Cotton High-Rise Brief washes well and doesn't dig into any of my curves — not even my bump.

While they might not be the most sexy pair of undies on the planet, they have been so cozy to lounge in and wear with a T-shirt to bed on warmer nights. Without scaring the masses — I can confidently say these will be an essential piece of my postpartum wardrobe.

Unlike some of my team, I've always been an underwire gal — but after two-plus years of working from home, my style has definitely become a bit more comfortable, so I was eager to try Kit's new offerings. I tried both the Plunge Bra and the Triangle Soft bra, both in a size small. I found both styles to be ultra-comfy and lightweight, and I'm eager to wear them during the summer months. However of course, if you're looking for a more supportive style these probably aren't for you — but they'd still make a great at-home lounge upgrade.

I also tried a couple pairs of the Kit Undergarments underwear — and this is where I found love. As someone whose stash of undergarments is largely still from the 10 for $30 bin, I've been trying to upgrade my undies to something a bit more streamlined and comfy. I tried both the Organic High-Rise Brief and the High-Waist Boy Brief and I'm in love. Both styles are extremely comfortable, lightweight, and didn't chafe at all during a day that included a 10-kilometre walk and a 15-kilometre bike ride. One word of caution, though — these styles are both extremely high-waisted. As I tend to wear dresses or very high-rise pants, that was fine for me, but if you're a fan of a mid-rise or lower-rise, you may want to check out one of the other styles.
