Tiger Car Supply Trading launches Daewoo Trucks in Cebu

TIGER Car Supply Trading officially launched Daewoo Trucks, an internationally leading truck and automotive Korean brand in Cebu on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Tiger Car is the first distributor of Daewoo trucks in Central Visayas region.

The launching was meant to strengthen the company’s commitment to lead a paradigm shift in the automotive industry fostering innovation and differentiated technology to further compete in the global market.

Tiger Car will assemble Daewoo trucks in Cebu at its assembly plant located in Consolacion—the first assembly plant of Daewoo in the Philippines.

Such move is meant to kickstart Cebu’s positioning as a local assembly plant for trucks and boost employment and livelihoods in the province.

The launching was attended by the executives of Daewoo Trucks from South Korea, business executives, and political leaders from the Visayas and Mindanao. (KOC)
