The TNT Tropang Giga kept its immaculate record intact as they blew away the Blackwater Bossing, 96-76, to hike its win-loss record to 4-0 in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday at the Don Honorio Ventura State University Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.

Down 37-43 at halftime, TNT turned things around in the third quarter where they unloaded 37 points while holding Blackwater to just 17 to establish a 74-60 lead heading to the last quarter. The lead ballooned to a high of 26 as TNT kept their foot on the gas pedal until the final buzzer.

Rookie guard Mikey Williams led TNT with 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals while Cebuano wingman Roger Pogoy had 16 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals. Jayson Castro added 11 while Troy Rosario missed out on a double-double with eight points and 11 rebounds.

Simon Enciso had 14 markers to lead the way for Blackwater, which dropped to a league-worst 0-5. The team has now lost 13 straight games dating to last season.

The only bright spot for the Bossing was the return of Carl Bryan Cruz who had 11 points and six rebounds. (JNP)
