THE Toledo City Health Department recorded two new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on June 21, 2020.
Based on its Facebook post, the city’s ninth case is a 46-year-old female from Barangay Poblacion, Toledo City.
She had an “on and off fever” and had difficulty in breathing on June 15.
She was rushed to the Toledo City General Hospital wherein it was found out she has pneumonia and water in her lungs.
She then underwent a swab test.
She was referred to Talisay District Hospital, however, she died while inside the emergency room.
She was immediately buried at a cemetery in Talisay City.
Her family emphasized the city’s ninth patient had no travel history.
The city’s 10th case is a 55-year-old male who resides in Barangay Don Andres Soriano, Toledo City who had a travel history from Cagayan de Oro.
Last week, the patient was reportedly not feeling well and was having a sore throat.
The patient is now at the Cebu Provincial Hospital in Balamban, according to the TCHD.
The TCHD had already conducted a contact tracing for people who had exposure with CC9 and CC10.
According to TCHD, the city now has seven active cases of Covid-19.(JJL)
