Toledo City logs 5 new cases of Covid-19

TOLEDO City recorded five new cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

One of the new cases, who has been tagged as CC19, is a 27-year-old male from Sta. Rosa, Laguna and is an employee of a private company in Toledo City.

He is currently symptomatic and is being monitored, said the local government.

The second new case, CC20, is a 55-year-old male and is CC19’s co-worker. He is also symptomatic.

CC21, the third new case, is a 62-year-old male from Bacolod City and is a colleague of the first two mentioned patients. He also has symptoms of Covid-19.

These three patients are direct contacts of CC10 and were made to undergo home isolation because their test results came out. They are continuing their home quarantine and are being monitored by health personnel, said the local government.

The two other cases are both males and work in the same company. They are confined in an isolation facility and are monitored by the company’s health personnel.

As of Tuesday, Toledo City already has a total of 23 Covid-19 cases, with two recoveries and one death. (RDR)
