Toledo City records 3 new Covid-19 cases

THE Toledo City Health Department (TCHD) recorded three new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on June 28, 2020.

The new cases came from Barangays Bato, Talavera, and Poog with one case each.

The patient from Barangay Bato, tagged as CC16, is a 24-year-old personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) assigned in Cordova.

The TCHD stated that the BFP personnel has not set foot in the city since March 9.

The patient is currently experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 and is being monitored.

The patient from Talavera is a 41-year-old female who is a house helper in a barangay in Cebu City and has not been home in Talavera since March.

She is a direct contact of a Covid-19 patient.

She is currently being monitored after experiencing symptoms of the virus.

The patient from Poog is a 37-year-old male who is currently admitted at a private hospital in the city.

Toledo City now has a total of 18 Covid-19 positive patients with two recoveries and one mortality.

Of the 18 total cases, 15 remain to be active. (JJL)
