Toshiba – the world’s first maker of notebook PCs – introduces a range that goes to the heart of its promise of “Leading Innovation”. From glasses-free 3D Notebook PCs to ultra-light Ultrabooks™ and mega-muscled gaming machines, Toshiba aims to create a sensation with a launch campaign spanning television, print, out-of-home media and digital media. The campaign will be fronted by popular French-Filipina actress, VJ, TV host, model and singer, Ms Solenn Heussaff , the brand ambassador for Toshiba (Philippines).

Explaining the thinking behind the new products, Mr. Tomoyasu Yamamoto, CEO & President of Toshiba (Philippines) Inc., said, “We are constantly innovating and exploring new technologies to provide consumers with stylish and functional products and enhancing awareness of our brand.”

One such product sure to excite, is Toshiba’s world’s lightest 13.3-inch Portégé Z930 Ultrabook™ at just 1.12kg. Although ultra-thin at 15.9mm, it gives you battery mileage of up to 8 hours. Meanwhile, its 13.3” Portégé R930 cousin continues to be exceptionally light with standard voltage processor and integrated DVD drive.

Then, there’s the Satellite L, C, M and P series. The stylish Satellite M800 Series – in gold, pink and blue, offers exceptional power for multitasking, while the Satellite P850 breaks new ground with glasses-free 3D technology for superior HD entertainment through its 15.6” Full HD Clear SuperView display.

Avid gamers are also in for a treat with Toshiba’s new gaming powerhouse, the Qosmio X870. Combining pure gaming performance with excellent picture quality and sound, and empowered with the latest NVIDIA® graphics processor, the Qosmio X870 with its 3D-enabled 17.3” Full HD display is truly a winner.
Over the years, Toshiba has provided businesses with solid performance notebook PCs under its “Tecra” brand.  True to the brand, Toshiba’s new, full-featured Tecra R940 business notebook PCs are workhorses with enhanced durability, security and reliability.

Quite a sizzling line-up indeed, befitting the glamour of Toshiba’s Brand Ambassador, Ms Heussaff.  She shares her excitement of working with Toshiba, “It’s a great honor to be chosen as Brand Ambassador for Toshiba in the Philippines. Toshiba products are stylish and technologically advanced … they embody the kind of life I want to lead.” Ms Heussaff will be featured in Toshiba advertisements for notebook PCs, TVs and home appliances in the major media.
