Trooping the Colour fashion, from the Duchess of Cambridge to Princess Diana

In 2020, Trooping the Colour will look like no other event before it, as the country continues to grapple with the impact of coronavirus.

The Queen looks to be the only member of the Royal Family who will enjoy a miniature version of the ceremony, done by the battalion stationed with her at Windsor Castle where she is isolating with her husband Prince Philip.

The huge change means there won’t be a chance to see the royals in their best outfits to celebrate the pomp and pageantry - and no balcony photos as they watch an RAF flypast.

Instead, we will have to look back at the photos of years gone by as we reminisce about the best outfits - from the Duchess of Cambridge’s double-breasted Alexander McQueen coat with a black hat in 2011, to Meghan Markle's navy Givenchy outfit in 2019 as she make a maternity break appearance.
