Two more golds in Day 2: Team Philippines matches 2017 SEA Games record

MANILA, Philippines – Winning two more golds on Monday (December 2), Team Philippines has matched its 2017 record in the South East Asian Games (SEA Games) as it has now secured 24 golds.

John Derick Farr and Lea Denise Belgira were the latest to add gold medals to the Philippines’ medal tally after winning today’s Mountain Bike Downhill event for Men and Women’s categories, respectively.

So far, these are the PH’s wins as the 30th SEA Games continue:

The Philippines finished 6th in the 2017 SEA Games with only 24 golds.

This is the fourth time the country is hosting the biennial multi-sport event with participation from currently 11 countries across the Southeast Asian region.

Dubbed as the biggest SEA Games so far, this year’s 30th SEA Games is composed of 530 sporting events being held in 50 locations across Luzon.
