THE typhoon with the international name "Kammuri" entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) Saturday afternoon, November 30 and was renamed "Tisoy."

Pagasa also warned against sea travel, especially for small boats, over the seaboards of areas under TCWS, the northern and western seaboards of Northern Luzon and the eastern seaboards of the country due to prevailing or forecast rough sea conditions.

Pagasa added that TCWS #1 may be raised over the rest of Northern Samar, Samar, Catanduanes, and Sorsogon in the next bulletin. Disruption of maritime travel may be experienced over these areas. (SunStar Philippines)
