Why, I was witness to an intimate, exclusive Chocolate High Tea experience at The Chocolate Chamber (TCC) recently, with the Chocolate Queen herself, Raquel Toquero-Choa hosting the three o’ clock event.

Venue was The Chocolate Chamber at Robinsons Galleria Cebu, with event planner and news exec Robby Alugar welcoming this group of media personalities and tour operators.

Hostess Raquel had artistically arranged an al fresco setting with tables beneath a canopy, and privately shielded by lush greenery. Here, she presented her High Tea menu: Lemon Scones with homemade mango jam and assorted choco bits; Mini Buns with of beef pastrami, Turkey and tuna; Green Salad sprinkled with Cacao de Bola and chopped Tartufini; One cup of sikwate or hot chocolate of preferred flavor.

These delectable creations highlight how pure Cacao tablets evolved as an essential culinary ingredient.
