24 Jul – Vice Ganda is decrying "fake news" over a report saying that he had been negotiating with TV5 amid ABS-CBN's franchise renewal issues.

As reported on Inquirer, the TV personality recently shared a screenshot of an article titled "TV5 reportedly rejects Vice Ganda after the comedian's camp asks 3-M pesos talent fee", which alleged that the network declined to agree on Ganda's hefty demand.

"Fools! You absolute fools!" he wrote, claiming that the article was fabricated.

It is noted that the comedian has already announced the launch of his own digital network, which will air shows through its official website, www.viceganda.com.ph.

In a recent interview, Ganda stated that he even got the blessings from ABS-CBN for his new project, saying that bosses Carlo Katigbak and Cory Vidanes also challenged him to go digital.
