(ROADRUNNER: A Film About Anthony Bourdain, in theatres July 16)
It’s hard to believe that it’s been three years since the world lost Anthony Bourdain. He took us around the world, introduced us to dishes we wouldn’t try ourselves (him eating a beating cobra’s heart is etched in our minds), and shared his own life lessons with us through how he became a better person by travelling. He said, “Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life — and travel — leaves marks on you.” And he definitely left a mark on us.
In July, a documentary entitled Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain, directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville, will allow us to explore the world again through the eyes of the acclaimed chef, writer, adventurer, and provocateur, and listen to his journey in is his own voice.
