With the Philadelphia Museum of Art closed due to the coronavirus, people decided to use the opportunity to ride motorcycles and ATVs up and down the institution’s iconic steps, which featured memorably in the movie Rocky, on July 21.
Hugh E. Dillon was at the museum and captured video footage of the motorists, as they performs tricks and stunts in front of the museum.
Dillon posted the video to Twitter with the caption, “Not a boring night,” followed by #rockysteps and #loneprotester.
The footage shows several people riding around on various vehicles while one person appears to be holding a sign, possibly from an earlier protest, although the details of the sign cannot be made out in the video. Credit: Hugh E. Dillon via Storyful
