Children were reported to be among the victims of airstrikes on the village of al-Quneitra in western Idlib province on Monday, September 25, according to local sources and the Syrian Network for Human Rights.
The activist group reported that two girls and their grandmother were killed in a strike, though this could not be independently verified.
This video shows children, said to have been injured in the strikes, receiving medical treatment. Later in the footage, a man standing next to rubble describes the path warplanes took over the town. He says the planes flew over Quneitra towrds Maarat Misrin, a village to the east, and back over Quneitra.
A video from SMART News Agency also published on September 25 showed the same man speaking at the same site. He said the airstrikes hit a water storage facility and the house next to it, but Storyful cannot independently verify this description. Credit: YouTube/Ibrahim Yasouf via Storyful
