Beaches in Durban, South Africa, were covered with plastic waste and debris on April 22 and 23, after intense rain caused flooding across KwaZulu-Natal province.

This footage shows aerial views of the litter that had accumulated on the shores of the Beachwood Mangroves Nature Reserve in Durban, South Africa, on April 23.
