Fire in Building Near Times Square Shuts Down New York Streets

Authorities cordoned off streets near New York City’s Times Square on September 22, after a fire in a nearby building threw plumes of smoke into the air.

The fire reportedly took place near the Hyatt Centric hotel on West 46th street in Manhattan, with New York Fire Department photos showing emergency services responing at 145 West 45 St, outside O’Lunney’s bar.
