Fire West of Reno Reaches 125 Acres

A fire broke out on Garson Road west of Reno, Nevada, on June 18, spreading to about 125 acres, according to the Reno Fire Department. By 8 am on June 19, the fire was 10 percent contained.

Some homes were evacuated, but have since been reopened, according to local news reports. Investigators have said the fire is believed to have been started by target shooters.
