Floyd Protesters Converge on Hennepin County Government Center for 2nd Day

Demonstrators gathered outside the Hennepin County Government Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for the second day on May 28, as protests continued over the police-involved death of George Floyd.

Participants held signs with the phrases including “I’ve had enough,” “How much more video do you need?,” and “I can’t breathe” – words spoken by Floyd as Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, who has since been fired, pushed his knee into Floyd’s neck.

After police announced that Chauvin had been arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter, protesters reportedly chanted “one down, three to go,” calling for the other three police officers involved to be arrested. Credit: Erik Lundborg via Storyful
