A volcano on the Italian island of Stromboli erupted on Sunday, July 19, sending lava and debris falling around the crater of the volcano and the slope known as the Sciara del Fuoco, local media reported.
This video shows the volcano producing a series of exhalations and lava and debris falling around the volcano.
The Etna Observatory of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology recorded two eruptions, one at five o’clock local time and a less intense one at 6.23.
