Haka for Life’s Leon Ruri shared an impassioned video on Facebook on August 16 about the importance of men’s mental health, ahead of his haka for mental health awareness on August 17 at Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Ruri, who performed a high-profile haka in Perth on Anzac Day for mental health, said the Sydney Bridge Climb was hosting a haka group of 13, including his two sons.
“It’s going to create a lot of waves,” he said.
“I want to say to any man… keep interrupting the story that you have in your life. There are greater days. Turn to your sons today and tell them that you love them,” he said. Credit: Haka for Life via Storyful
