ISS Astronauts Replace Station Batteries in Spacewalk

Two flight engineers on board the International Space Station conducted a spacewalk on March 22 to replace some of the batteries that allow the station to operate when its solar cells are out of sight of the Sun.

Nick Hague and Anne McClain spent 39 minutes outside the station.

Another spacewalk was scheduled for March 29, NASA reported, the first all-female spacewalk. Credit: NASA via Storyful
