London-Based Composer Battles Coronavirus Isolation by Re-Creating in Lego James Bond Jetpack Scene

Faced with an extended period of isolation at home amid the coronavirus outbreak, a London-based composer and his family chose what he called the “obvious” thing to do: re-create a scene from a James Bond movie using Lego.

Jon Opstad chose the famous jetpack escape scene from the 1965 movie Thunderball. In subsequent tweets he showed how he and his children worked on the project, and said the stop-motion animation took about a week to complete. Credit: Jon Opstad via Storyful
