Massive Roof Blown Onto Slough High Street by Storm Brendan

A large section of a roof was blown off a block of buildings in Slough, England, as Storm Brendan hit the town on January 14.

Thames Valley Police said they were working with emergency services at the scene and did not believe anyone suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident.

This footage from the scene was captured by Clixx Hussain, who told Storyful the roof came down just after 5.45 pm. “Me and a colleague were 5 seconds away from being caught underneath,” he said.

“There was a loud thunder-like noise and when we looked up the whole roof was ripped off and coming down,” Hussein told Storyful. “It smashed into a white van which was parked up. The roof also smashed through a window of a take away.”
